These 5" PowerPolish discs are used in the Pioneer Eclipse decorative flooring polishing and restoration process. When compared to other systems, the PowerPolish system is a more cost-effective and simplified process. Organized into four distinct segments—repair, polish, protect, and maintain—this system is designed to elevate the restoration process for concrete, terrazzo, marble, quarry tile, and natural stone floors. The kit includes 10 PowerPolish discs.

To use these discs, it is crucial to pair them with the appropriate equipment, such as a low speed floor buffer or auto scrubber. The discs are engineered for wet applications only, ensuring optimal performance in the restoration process. For seamless attachment, you'll need to purchase the adapter pads, which can be easily connected to a standard floor pad. Attaching the diamond disc to the adapter pad is hassle-free, thanks to the convenient hook and loop mechanism—no additional tools required.

The discs are clearly labeled, streamlining the process to prevent errors. The sequence of steps includes Repair, Prep, Polish 1, Polish 2, Polish 3, and Polish 4.

The 100 grit Repair discs are ideal for addressing scratches, stains, and wear patterns on floors that exhibit significant signs of wear. The 200 grit Prep discs prepare the floor for polishing and are suitable for dull surfaces with minor scratches and staining. The 400 grit Polish 1 discs deliver a flat, matte finish. You can stop here or continue with additional polishing disc steps, which allow you to achieve your desired level of gloss. Polish 2 discs are 800 grit and will provide a semi-gloss finish. Polish 3 discs are 1800 grit and will leave your floors with a high-gloss finish. The last disc is Polish 4 and is 3000 grit. It provides an ultra-high-gloss finish to the floor.

• 5 discs on 17” buffers and auto scrubbers
• 5 discs on 20” buffers and auto scrubbers
• 8 discs on 27” auto scrubbers
• 8 discs on 32” auto scrubbers

Directions:

1. Install diamond discs to your machine (# of discs needed listed above).
2. Make multiple passes (4 – 6) slightly overlapping each previous pass. Alternate the direction of each pass to create a crosshatch pattern.
3. Pick up any solution or debris using an auto scrubber or mop.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 with each consecutive disc until the desired gloss is achieved.
