These 3" PowerPolish discs make up the Pioneer Eclipse polishing and restoration system. They are sold in kits of 6 discs, and all discs are the same grit. All 6 discs must be used together on the same holder. This system is one of the most cost-effective and streamlined solutions in the industry and encompasses four key segments, which are repairing, polishing, protecting, and maintaining your floors. Utilized in the restoration of concrete, terrazzo, marble, quarry tile, and natural stone floors, these 3” PowerPolish discs are suitable for both wet and dry applications. They easily attach to most grinding and polishing machines. To use these discs, it is necessary to purchase the compatible HydraShine pad driver. Then simply connect the pad driver to your machine and then affix the diamond discs using a convenient hook and loop mechanism.
The discs are clearly labeled to prevent errors and avoid confusion. Simply move in order from most aggressive to least aggressive. It goes in this order - Repair (100 grit), Prep (200 grit), Polish 1 (400 grit), Polish 2 (800 grit), Polish 3 (1800 grit), and Polish 4 (3000 grit).
The 100 grit Repair discs are designed to address scratches, stains, and wear patterns, making them the starting point for heavily worn floors. The 200 grit Prep discs prepare the floor for polishing, ideal for dull surfaces with minor scratches and staining. The 400 grit Polish 1 discs then deliver a flat, matte finish, with subsequent steps offering varying levels of gloss. The 800 grit Polish 2 discs provide a semi-gloss finish, the 1800 grit Polish 3 discs yield a high-gloss finish, and the 3000 grit Polish 4 discs achieve an ultra-high-gloss finish.
Directions:
Install HydraShine pad driver with PowerPolish discs to your machine.
Make multiple passes (2 – 4) slightly overlapping each previous pass. Alternate the direction of each pass to create a crosshatch pattern.
Pick up any solution or debris using an auto scrubber or mop.
Repeat steps 1-3 with each consecutive disc until the desired gloss is achieved.
