CleanFreak® 'Bonnet Scrub' Encapsulating Carpet Cleaner is a concentrated formula designed for effective interim carpet maintenance with a low-moisture cleaning process. As the carpet dries, the encapsulation technology surrounds loosened dirt, soil, and cleaning residues, forming dry, brittle particles that can be removed through routine vacuuming. This helps prevent leftover residue from remaining on carpet fibers and contributing to rapid resoiling.

The enzyme-enhanced formula continues working after the initial cleaning process, helping break down stubborn soils and combat odors even after bonnet cleaning is complete.

Suitable for use on wool, upholstery, stain-resistant, and standard carpeting, CleanFreak® 'Bonnet Scrub' Encapsulating Carpet Cleaner is intended for interim maintenance between deeper cleanings. For best results, perform a full carpet extraction after every 2–3 encapsulation cleanings.

For bonnet cleaning, dilute 11 oz. of CleanFreak® 'Bonnet Scrub' Encapsulating Carpet Cleaner per gallon of water and apply using a pump-up sprayer. Work in small sections using a low speed floor buffer equipped with carpet bonnets. After the carpet has fully dried, regular vacuuming removes the encapsulated soil and residue left behind by the cleaning process.

Directions

1. Vacuum the carpet thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris before cleaning.
2. Dilute 11 oz. of product with 1 gallon of water.
3. Pre-spray the area to be cleaned and allow the solution to dwell for approximately 15 minutes. For easier cleaning, work in sections of roughly 10' x 10'.
4. Soak a carpet bonnet in the diluted cleaning solution, wring out excess liquid, and secure the bonnet to the pad driver on your floor buffer.
5. Scrub the carpet section thoroughly to loosen and break apart bonded soils.
6. As the bonnet collects soil, flip it over if using a double-sided bonnet or replace it with a clean one. Continue the process until the entire area has been cleaned.
7. Allow the cleaned carpet to dry completely.
8. Continue with routine vacuuming to pick up the dried, encapsulated soils and residues.
