Product Description

We recommend pre-testing CleanFreak 'Easy Lift SC' on a small area before widespread use. It is a concentrated product, so it needs to be diluted at 1 part stripper to 20 parts cold water for most floor finishes (1 quart per 5 gallons of water). First step is to dispense on to the floor and allow it to dwell for 10 minutes. You cannot not allow the stripping solution to dry onthe floor. Make sure to keep the floor wet at all times by using liberal amounts of solution.

After allowing the mixed Easy Lift SC solution to dwell on the floor, you'll need to provide agitation and loosen the floor finish. You can do this by using a floor stripping pad and a floor buffer, or an auto scrubber, to full remove all of the layers of floor finish. Picking up loosened finish is most effective with a wet vacuum, but may also be mopped off the floor.

Make sure surface is thoroughly rinsed with clean water. Rinse, then scrub with a neutral cleaner to remove remaining residue after rinsing. Then apply a floor finish in your normal manner.

On old linoleum, rubber and asphalt floors do not use an over concentration of solution or bleaching or discoloring may occur. Test a small area using a solution no stronger than 1 part of stripper to 10 parts of water. Adjust concentration to strip effectively without harming floor substrate.

Directions

  • Use 4 oz. of product per gallon of cold water for light duty stripping applications (1:30 ratio | 1 quart per 7.5 gallons of water).
  • Use 6 oz. of product per gallon of cold water for normal stripping applications (1:20 ratio | 1 quart per 5 gallons of water).
  • Use 13 oz. of product per gallon of cold water for heavy duty stripping applications (1:10 ratio | 1 quart per 2.5 gallons of water).

*Please Note: Test floor for color fastness in an inconspicuous area. Floors may become very slippery. Wear appropriate non-slip safety shoes. This product should not be used in contact with wood, rubber, painted surfaces or on asphalt or asbestos tile.
